Surah Ad-Duha — The Morning Brightness
Saturday, March 28, 2026
"By the morning SHINE. By the night as it SETTLES. Your Lord has not abandoned you, nor has He despised you. And indeed the Last is better for you than the First. And your Lord will certainly give you so that you will be well pleased..."

Complete Translation

1
By the morning SHINE.
2
By the night as it SETTLES.
3
Your Lord has not abandoned you, nor has He despised you.
4
And Indeed the Last is better for you than the First.
5
and your Lord will certainly give you so that you will be well pleased.
6
Did He not find you an orphan, so He sheltered you;
7
and found you wandering, so He guided you;
8
and found you in need, so He enriched you?
9
So as for the orphan, do not subdue;
10
and as for the asker, do not rebuke;
11
and as for the blessing of your Lord, do talk about it.
